Animal Art by Marshall

I firmly believe that the eyes are windows to the soul and that is what I consider to be the focal point to my animal portraitures. Big cats are another big love of mine. I have been fascinated in all types of wild cats

Marshall grew up in Chicago where she attended private art school starting at the age of 8. She inherited her love of art from her parents. Her mother was an accomplished painter and her father enjoyed working with his hands. Tera won many awards and had her work recognized in local news papers. She went on to study art at Arizona State University. She graduated with a BFA with a specialty in life drawing. Her range of materials is vast. Although she is currently focusing on pastels she has experience with photography, printmaking, painting - both watercolors and oils - graphite, charcoal and colored pencils. Two pieces of her artwork were exhibited in the yearly Art show featured in the ASU Harry Wood Art Gallery, Her love of all animals is a reoccurring theme in her past and current work.
