Animal Art by Marshall

I firmly believe that the eyes are windows to the soul and that is what I consider to be the focal point to my animal portraitures. Big cats are another big love of mine. I have been fascinated in all types of wild cats

Marshall grew up in Chicago where she attended private art school starting at the age of 8. She inherited her love of art from her parents. Her mother was an accomplished painter and her father enjoyed working with his hands. Tera won many awards and had her work recognized in local news papers. She went on to study art at Arizona State University. She graduated with a BFA with a specialty in life drawing. Her range of materials is vast. Although she is currently focusing on pastels she has experience with photography, printmaking, painting - both watercolors and oils - graphite, charcoal and colored pencils. Two pieces of her artwork were exhibited in the yearly Art show featured in the ASU Harry Wood Art Gallery, Her love of all animals is a reoccurring theme in her past and current work.

Francilia Agar

If you are looking to decorate your home or office with Southwest Art look no further.

Artist Agar has such a flair for color as she is originally from Dominica and combines her love of color from  her homeland with her new home in Arizona.

Her favorite topic to paint is colorful landscapes of Sedona, and desert scenery of the Southwest featuring the mountain and cacti of Arizona. Her technique involves several layers of paint to create a masterpiece and a truely colorful experience.

ABSTRACT ARTWORK

Check out contemporary abstract works featured by Sherri Springer at Gallery Andrea featured this month.

Sherri has always loved art, music, and nature.

Painting was a strong talent of her mother’s, a very talented oil artist for most of her life. Her mother was pleased when Sherri took interest in this artistic outlet that she herself was so passionate about and loved watching as Sherri fine-tuned her skills.

Sherri cherishes the memory of her mother getting to witness her evolution into a fine artist. Ever since that time, it became evident that this was to be a real purpose in her life going forward. She remains feeling blessed by the fact she has received some of her mother's talent. It also helps Sherri feel her mother's presence – a legacy living on.
